Dear Black Belt:

We realize the core to a successful tournament is not only in how it is run, but who is helping it to get done. The judges are the most important part of making sure a tournament is run professionally, on time and with the highest quality. Many competitors and their families forget that judges volunteer their time and energy to help competitors. Sometimes judges are not perfect. We all make mistakes, but there is no excuse for a lack of understanding of rules, regulations and how a tournament is run.

At N.Y. Tournaments, we are putting together a core group of Center Referee's, Black Belt Side Judges and Score Keepers to make every one of our events run perfectly.

We are hosting regular meetings to help keep our judges on top of all the rules, regulations and changes. For more information on how you can become an official or a scorekeeper just email us.
